- The APP seeks to advance the practise of psychoanalytic psychotherapy in the National Health Service and other Public Services by helping to co-ordinate activities and educational facilities for psychoanalytic psychotherapists working in the NHS and other Public Services. The APP website provides information on specialist sections which address the particular concerns of psychoanalytic psychotherapists working in diverse settings within the public services.

It remained the family home until Anna Freud, the youngest daughter, died in 1982. The centrepiece of the museum is Freud's library and study, preserved just as it was during his lifetime.
