- Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the NHS
- The APP seeks to advance the practise of psychoanalytic psychotherapy in the National Health Service and other Public Services by helping to co-ordinate activities and educational facilities for psychoanalytic psychotherapists working in the NHS and other Public Services. The APP website provides information on specialist sections which address the particular concerns of psychoanalytic psychotherapists working in diverse settings within the public services.

- The BCP is a national body linking mostly long-standing training and professional organisations in the field of psychoanalysis, analytical psychology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and child psychotherapy. - British Association of Psychotherapists
- Specialising in individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children, the BAP, founded in 1951, brings together psychotherapists with different theoretical traditions, offering intensive clinical work and professional trainings in both Jungian Analytic and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
- International Psychoanalytical Association

- The Freud Museum, at 20 Maresfield Gardens in Hampstead, was the home of Sigmund Freud and his family when they escaped Nazi annexation of Austria in 1938. It remained the family home until Anna Freud, the youngest daughter, died in 1982. The centrepiece of the museum is Freud's library and study, preserved just as it was during his lifetime.

- The TSP was established in 1995 and has over 500 members. It includes professionals specifically trained in adult psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychiatry and systemic and family psychotherapy as well as other trained professionals who have completed an appropriate psychodynamic or systemic public sector related training programme.
